Have you considered incorporating solid timber for the joinery in your home? 🪵
Using solid timber in your kitchen, laundry, or bathroom is a beautiful way to introduce Biophilic Design 🪴🌿—an evidence-based architectural and interior design philosophy that integrates natural elements into built environments to enhance human well-being.
This brief for this project was for feature grade Blackbutt that would provide texture and warmth that mass-produced, synthetic alternatives simply cannot replicate. Simple and elegant with finger pulls and basic ceramic basin.

Meet Ryan Kross, an apprentice with Terrace Joinery in South Windsor, NSW.

Under the guidance of business owner Terrace Joinery and ACFA Trainer Lewis, Ryan is building valuable skills and hands-on experience in the joinery industry, setting a strong foundation for a successful career.

Apprenticeships play a vital role in developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Through workplace-based training and support from experienced mentors, apprentices like Ryan gain the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in our industry.

A big thank you to Grant and the team at Terrace Joinery for their commitment to investing in future talent and helping shape the next generation of industry professionals.

Hartley Kitchen 🔥🔥
Not everyone goes for white cabinetry. The clean modern-contemporary look of this kitchen with a warm, high-contrast palette suits the rich historical heritage of Hartley. The Black Wenge cabinetry paired with Starburst benchtops creates strong contrast without feeling harsh. The brass hardware adds warmth and keeps the space from looking too monochrome.

Mosman Project - Master Robe
The master robe finishes off this amazing project. The space was carefully designed to consider all wardrobe needs. The mixed storage depths provide for visual rhythm as well as practicality. And the Shaker cabinetry with integrated warm LED lighting creates a calm organised space. Never underestimate the Master Robe!

A modern open-plan kitchen flowing straight into a living area, with floor-to-ceiling windows wrapping around the space. The island bench is positioned so whoever’s cooking can still face out toward the ocean—not stuck staring at a wall!
