🐝 Another successful (and safe!) bee rescue in the books! 🌳
​We recently got a call about a colony living inside a damaged tree that needed to be removed. Whenever possible, our top priority is keeping the bees safe and unharmed.
​Here is how we handled this one:
​Located & Secured: We safely found and relocated the queen into a brand new hive.
​Natural Migration: By placing the queen in her new home, the rest of the colony naturally follows her over to the new box.
​Safe Removal: Once the bees were settled and accounted for, the damaged tree was safely cut down without harming the colony.
​Now, these busy bees are all settled into their upgraded, safe home and ready to keep doing what they do best! 🌼🍯
