Got a chance to see how a little garden renovation from September was doing. Steel has rusted and the garden is well on its way. Client has done well to get some lawn started before the summer 🌱

It’s important to reduce the pressure of irrigation systems for reliability and performance. A garden tap’s water pressure often needs to be reduced by 70% or more for drip irrigation.

Raised beds provide great drainage and access but do tend to dry out quicker. These beds have been fitted with a drip irrigation system and poly hoop frames.

Some serious weeding to get these beds prepped. A healthy dose of SeaGreens compost has been added to improve the soil.

Automated drip irrigation system are very efficient and can provide the best kind of deep watering plants love. Each bed here can be switched off manually when not in use, with flush valves fitted for easy maintenance. 🌳💧

I love to see this! Client’s maple was badly infested with aphids. Returning to check on the tree, all I could find were healthy ladybird larvae eating their way through the last of the aphids! Luckily, there must be low insecticide usage in the area otherwise the tree could have been in trouble. 🐞🐞🐞
