To start, let me state for the record, this driveway was NOT done by Summers Excavations P/L.

I got a call for help to recover a vehicle for the property owners, but while I was there, I couldn't help myself but try and carry out some quick repairs to previous work which was carried out but already had ruts starting to form after the big rains (I hate being OCD 😆). A quick crowning and creek crossing fix, but hopefully will hold up for them.

And a huge shout out to their neighbours, who came over and helped out. Thank you very much 👍👍

Many driveways in the area have suffered after the heavy rains. The most important component of a driveway is drainage. A flat driveway just won't do. Washouts are unavoidable in some cases, so create a washout off the driveway. Below is an example.
