🐆 Bissons Electrical People’s Choice Award Winner Announced! 🏆

Visitors to the 47th Hinchinbrook Art Awards were absolutely captivated by a breathtaking painting of a jaguar and caiman locked in a dramatic battle for survival — and it’s no surprise it took out the People’s Choice Award!

🎨 The Catch by 17‑year‑old Hamish Darveniza stopped people in their tracks with its incredible detail, realism, and raw power.

Community and Cultural Services Portfolio Councillor Donna Marbelli said the strong community support for this year’s exhibition has been overwhelming.

“This piece is absolutely captivating. It is bold, dramatic, and full of life. The People’s Choice Award is special, and this artwork clearly struck a chord.”

The Hinchinbrook Art Awards continue to celebrate amazing creativity and talent from across our region. 🌟
