A big thank you to our one and only Lacey Wallace
After keeping the wheels turning at GeoRadar while I’ve been able to step away and spend some much needed time with my family, it’s finally Lacey’s turn.

Lacey has officially headed off on maternity leave, ready to enjoy some very well earned time with her family and, most importantly, welcome the little man that her and Matt have created into the world.

Anyone who knows our business knows just how much Lacey does. The continuous phone calls, emails, organising jobs, sorting the boys out, putting out fires and somehow keeping everything moving day after day. She’s been a massive part of allowing me to take a step back and spend that time with my family, and for that I’ll always be grateful.

Now it’s her turn to switch the nonstop phone calls and emails for sleepless nights, dirty nappies and plenty of newborn cuddles 😂
GeoRadar has always been more than just a business to us. We’re one big work family, and Lacey and Matt are obviously a pretty big part of that family. So I think I can speak for everyone when I say we’re bloody excited for you both and can’t wait to meet the newest little member of the crew.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, my family, the boys and the business, Lace. You’ve more than earned this time.
Enjoy every minute of it, because work will still be here when you get back… although we can’t promise what sort of state we’ll have it in 😂

Out on site today making sure nothing gets hit that shouldn’t.

There was already services running straight through where the work was planned, so we stepped in, located everything properly, and adjusted the plan before anything went wrong. Hole dug, site cleared, and the client’s good to go.

This is the part most people don’t see, taking the time to get it right before machines hit the ground.

On site with the YMCA making sure everything is clear before works begin.

Today’s brief was simple - locate any underground assets before a new flagpole goes in out front. Using GPR and service locating, we identified a cable running from the electrical pit across the driveway, along with a potential fire water main sitting right where the original hole was planned.

Position adjusted, risk removed.

Our team then excavated to spec, confirmed the area was clear, and handed the site back ready for install next week.

No surprises. No damage. No delays.

That’s how it should be done.
