Getting into the interesting part of this job.
Pics don’t do the terrain justice but that hill the Ute is going up is pretty steep, needed diff licks until we got a shower of rain to settle it.
Steeper stuff ahead of us next week, no Ute access into it only skid steer

Stage 1 down……2.5km of this 16km project.
Waiting game now for approval from both private and Government neighbours to give the go ahead.

What about this one!!!
GalMax Maxloc 19/183/5 horsemesh on 2.7m maxi posts with 900mm netting apron.
IA very cost effective security fence (this fence without the apron) is a much cheaper option than a traditional chainmesh fence.
Wire and posts supplied by Elders and strainers supplied by Metaland Inverell.

We currently have our 100hp skid steer working in the area stick raking and cleaning small dams.
Machine is equipped with 2.5m stick rake, 4in1 bucket, 8ft slasher and augers from 100mm to 600mm that can dig holes to a depth of 2.4m

Got the old welder dialled in today!!
Swapped to a newer version (same brand) of gasless wire and couldn’t for the life of me run a decent bead……..managed to get hold of half a pallet of old stock and the results are night and day.
Welder: Weldclass Force 180MST
Wire: Cigweld Weldskill 0.9mm gasless

Eyeball bandit at it again!!!! (I like that term whoever said it to me previously)
Rails - 22
Recuts - 2 (5mm too long)
Hit in with hammer - 1
Time - 4hrs
Men - 1
No clamps, no stringlines, no sliding bevels, no wasting time tracing out cuts, just good old fashioned know how.
All my employees get taught this way, upskilling every one of them so that they can complete the job with minimal tools necessary, because when your out in the scrub and your texta runs out or your coping gadget gets lost or broken, guess what????? You have the knowledge to finish the job.
This is also efficiency and efficiency is money!!!!
