Theres a first for everything, cant say i have had to spend anywhere near the time i did today to replace a hot water thermstat.

A customer had no hot water and i had no access to find out what is failing because the cover to element and thermostat was against a brick wall.

Im not sure if there was much of a thought process behind the original install, but anyway after draining the tank and undoing the pipework i was able to move the hotwater system and gain access so i could test and found a faulty thermostat was the culprit.

So after installing a new thermostat, i undone the fittings on the hotwater system and turned the tank 180 degrees and installed the tank how it should have been installed in the first place.
