Every piercing heals differently, and knowing what to expect makes the whole journey so much easier 💛 Save this one 🥹

A few things worth knowing:
- lobes heal fastest: around 2 months
- helix, rook, flat and forward helix: 6 to 9 months
- daith, conch, mid helix and anti-tragus: up to 12 months
- healing times vary depending on aftercare, sleep position, and your general health

If your piercing jewellery is spinning, moving around, or just sitting loose, that's your sign it's healed and ready for a changeover 🥹✨

We do changeovers and downsizes here at Sinnerz for $35. This is also the fun part: getting to browse and choose your forever piece now that the healing is done 💛

One thing worth knowing: don't wait too long after your piercing heals to change the starter jewellery. Leaving it too long can cause the piercing to tighten around the longer post, which makes changeover harder.

The hidden helix is one of those piercings that makes people stop and ask: how does that work? 🥹✨

The piercing is placed just under the upper rim of the ear so the hole is concealed in the fold of cartilage. What you see is just a beautiful piece of jewellery or a delicate chain seemingly floating there with nothing holding it up.

Not everyone has the anatomy for it. You need a prominent enough helix fold to conceal the placement. Come in and we'll have a look at what's possible for your ear 💛
