So I’ve been doing a few jobs lately but haven’t had the chance to post them so here are some pics from 3 different jobs: A rotten stag, a bunch of knarly blackwoods and wattyl along a road and my first English oak tree that needed a side trim to allow more sunlight into an orchard🙂🌲

Hi folks, went to this tree job a couple weeks ago, looked simple in photos but as it turned out was my most challenging climb yet! 😅 I had to run my rope up to high crotch which allowed me to move out along the branches “limb walking” to cut into small enough sections that wouldn’t damage the rain tanks underneath when falling. At times I was horizontal along the branches, sometimes employing a “redirect”, a loop in a different crotch that allows you to climb in a different direction with your climb line in a more vertical position so that you’re not trying to be pulled back to the main trunk😎 Challenging job that took a lot of effort but very rewarding to see it completed👍 p.s. ladder was used for fast traverse up to working area only, not for cutting from.

A lovely to be alive and blessed to be back in the saddle for 2025!😎 A rather large 4 trunk wattyl tree (the last on the property 👍) with heavy leaning trunks over a nice grove of gums around a dam. Climbing, limb walking, weight reduction of learners then rig and pull the remaining trunks over👍 Challenging and satisfying and grateful for a safe job done😎

Hi folks,
Here’s some pics from a job I did for my In-laws last year. Eucalyptus Nitens planted about 12 years ago, upwards of 25m tall, had a narrow landing zone, navigating ornamental trees and neighbors cherry nets. Some of the edge trees had started to lift roots and lean in heavy winds so we had to get them down quickly to ensure a safe landing 😅 We managed to get 31 trees down in 2.5hrs, no casualties (nets, ornaments or people🤣)
