On this job, we’re plumbing in four separate units, which means four water meters are needed. Each dwelling gets its own connection to the mains, so water usage is tracked individually. Simple, but essential! ✅

We’ve all seen the modern, moody aesthetic of black roofs and walls—there’s no denying it looks sharp. But have you ever thought about how roof colour impacts your home’s energy efficiency?

In areas like Western Sydney, where homes are packed tightly together, councils have been encouraging lighter roof colours to reduce heat buildup and cut cooling costs. Here in rural NSW, we don’t have the same dense estates, but it does raise a good point—how much does your roof colour affect your electricity usage?

We’re not here to tell you what to choose (we’re big fans of a bold black roof too!), but if you’re looking for ways to make greener choices, roof colour might be something worth thinking about.
