Good work starts with skilled people.

At Davies Developments & Contracting, we're proud to build quality projects and we know the people on the tools make that possible.

With a growing pipeline of commercial, industrial and mining projects across regional WA, we're looking for an experienced **Carpenter** who takes pride in their workmanship, works well with a team and knows what it takes to get the job done right.

**What you'll be doing:**

🔨 Delivering quality carpentry from set-out through to final handover
📐 Reading plans, coordinating site activities and maintaining high workmanship standards
⚙️ Helping keep daily works on track and supporting trade crews
🦺 Maintaining safe work practices, including SWMS and PPE requirements
🤝 Supporting and mentoring apprentices
🏗️ Stepping up to lead site activities when the Supervisor is off-site

We're looking for someone with solid trade experience, a practical mindset and the confidence to take responsibility when needed.

At Davies Developments & Contracting, we build quality projects and back the people who lead them. Our pipeline in the Goldfields and regional WA is growing fast, and we’re on the hunt for a skilled Site Supervisor and Carpentry Trade Professionals to join the team.

🏗️ SITE SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:
• Trade Background: Qualification in Carpentry or relevant building discipline.• Experience: 3+ years as a Site Supervisor, Manager, or Senior Leading Hand in commercial, industrial, or mining infrastructure.
• Technical: Advanced ability to interpret complex architectural/structural drawings, scopes, and schedules.
• Safety: Active WA White Card, working knowledge of WHS laws, and a track record managing SWMS/JHA and toolbox talks.
• Licenses: Valid Australian Manual Driver's Licence. Cert IV in Building & Construction or High Risk Work Licences (EWP, Heights) highly regarded.
• Skills: Manage daily site operations, schedule subbies, coordinate materials, maintain QA, solve site issues autonomously, and liaise professionally with clients/PMs.

🪚 CHIPPY REQUIREMENTS:
• Trade Background: Formal qualification in Carpentry or related building trade.• Experience: 3+ years' experience as a Carpenter.
• Technical: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Skills: Great problem-solving, teamwork, and strong communication skills.• Essentials: C-Class Driver’s License, Police Clearance, and your own tools.
First Aid & Fit for Work Medical are desirable.
