Rycan Retaining and Earthworks provides earthmoving and retaining wall services to the Brisbane West, Ipswich, Somerset and Lockyer regions. We have over 10 years of experience performing cut and fill, levelling, trenching, boring and land clearing services. We hold a QBCC Licence - Structural Landscaping and specialise in building both engineered and unengineered retaining walls out of sandstone

block and boulder, concrete sleeper, timber and masonry block.

Our specialist equipment will have your project completed in no time. Our fleet includes a 6t Bobcat Excavator with an extended boom and hydraulic grab attachment, a 1.5t mini Bobcat Skid Steer, a 2t mini Bobcat Excavator

Attachments available: mud and trench buckets, dedicated rock auger (soft), dedicated rock auger (hard), clay auger, hydraulic hammer, and levelling bar.

Recent heavy rainfall has indeed hindered the progress of our ongoing project, however, this week’s sunny weather has allowed us to make some notable advancements. Located in Mt Crosby we are now working on the other side of the property from where our previous wall stood, and are in the process of constructing an engineered sandstone retaining wall measuring 1.2m in height. Our team has completed installing the foundation, along with the first course of 400x400x1000 sandstone blocks and the initial layer of drainage system.

We’ve been hard at work over the past week completing the cut for this mammoth soon‑to‑be in 💪The original timber was on its way out with an active termite colony, so it was time for a long‑lasting upgrade.✅ 50m³ of aerated material excavated and removed
