We might be a little late, but we didn’t want to miss the chance to wish everyone an amazing start to 2025! We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year, filled with plenty of good times and relaxation.

Looking back, 2024 was an absolute whirlwind, and we couldn’t have achieved everything we did without the incredible support our loyal clients, the amazing local community and of course our all star team. We’re so grateful for the opportunities we’ve had and the milestones we have reached.

Here’s a recap of Indra 2024:
📌 Major projects completed, including:
• Salvation Army Safe Space, Women’s Refuge
• Electrical refurbishments at Dampier Primary School and Karratha TAFE
• Key infrastructure work for Rio Tinto at Cape Lambert and Paraburdoo
• Freezer and Cool room mechanical electrical at Roy Hill
• Crib and ablution building wiring and complexing at CLA wharf
• Residential and mechanical electrical installations

📌 Opened our new office and workshop on Coolawanyah Rd, Karratha LIA – a huge milestone for our growing team

📌 Expanded our local-based team, ready to take on even more projects within the Pilbara.

Now, as we kick off 2025, we are motivated and full of excitement to work with all of you again. We’re ready to hit the ground running and continue delivering top quality results.

Apprentice Olympics, yes it’s a real thing.
15/11/2024 marks the first ever Indra Electrical Apprentice Olympics.
Recently we signed up two bright, young lads as first year apprentices and thought it would be good to put them head to head and test their skills.
This was and shall be for the next four years, the opening ceremony to our Christmas Party.
The Olympics contained five events and all tradesmen scored independently:

Rope Challenge - secure the materials placed into the trailer using only the length of Telstra rope supplied in under 5 minutes.

Snake Race - run through the slalom bollard course with a large fibreglass snake in tow. It was a time trial with only one chance to impress the judges.

Extension Bit Challenge - identical impact drivers with 900mm extension bits and a bucket of screws. Whoever fixed all screws to the plywood the fastest wins. Ohh, and they could only use one hand.

Oily Fit Off - terminate two double GPO’s and fix them to mounting blocks in under 5 minutes. Seems simple enough except their tools were in 5 litres of oil.

Iced Coffee Flippy Cup - my personal favourite. The old game of flippy cup except the boys had to down an iced coffee after each landed flip. This was a true test of hand eye coordination and tolerance to dairy. This one turned some stomachs.

Congratulations to our Olympic champion Braydon and better luck next year Jordan. At the end of the day, so many laughs were had and it was a good way to blow off some steam after a few big weeks at work.

Two wharfs in two days.
Remedial works to shore power steel conduits and completion of 2.5km wharf bonding project.
Not complaining when we are spotting bluebone swimming around our job site.
Indra Electrical Group have access to most sites across the Pilbara and we are consistantly expanding our reach.
