PLI’s Photo of the Week gives our crew a chance to share the work, the places and the people behind each job. We’ll feature some of the winning shots here, giving our wider community a closer look at what the PLI crew gets up to across the region.

A big thanks to Rio Tinto and all the local businesses who came together last Wednesday for the Rio Tinto Pilbara Buy Local Expo 2026.

Big props to Navah and her team for running another great event this year. It was great to see everyone and spend some time connecting with our Rio Tinto clients and friends, as well as the other local businesses we often work alongside and collaborate with.

Looking forward to seeing everyone enjoying their PLI merch on site.

How good is this!

Every young footballer needs somewhere to belong. A team, a coach, a game on the weekend and a reason to come back next season.

That is what Fremantle City Football Club is creating for nearly 200 girls, from U10s through to U17s.

The Girls Academy gives young players the chance to train, compete across WA and represent their club at state, interstate and international tournaments. This year one of the teams became the national champion at Kanga Cup, last year, the U14s travelled to Singapore. That's a big opportunity for a young player, made possible by the people who put in the work behind the scenes.

Thank you everyone at Fremantle City for the kind words. The credit belongs with the coaches, volunteers, families and players who make the club what it is.

PLI is proud to play a small part in supporting their work and the continued growth of girls’ football.

When our own crew's kids pull on the jersey and go represent WA on a national stage, we couldn't be prouder to stand behind them. The Fremantle City Football Club Girls Academy U12s are in Canberra for the Kanga Cup, and they've given it everything.

Second in the country last year. Back again this year to bring it home.

He did it!

On June 6th, Royce Castano claimed his Guinness World Records: 867 holes of indoor golf in 24 hours, raising over $8,000 for Dust & Adversity and shattering the silence on mental health in the Pilbara.

To everyone who rocked up and got behind him through the night a big congrats to you also for the dedicated support.

Today, we honor not only the fallen, but also the living embodiment of our ANZAC spirit.

Their unwavering dedication and steadfast resolve inspire us to strive for a better tomorrow, to uphold the values for which they so nobly fought.

As the bugle sounds and the Last Post echoes through the air, let us stand united in solidarity, bound by the ties of remembrance and gratitude.

May we never forget the sacrifices of the past, nor the courage of those who continue to serve.
