Job Description:
We are currently seeking both an experienced Locksmith, a Carpenter and Apprentice Locksmith to join our team.
As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for a variety of locksmith duties including, but not limited to, installing, repairing, and servicing locks for residential, commercial, and automotive clients.
As a Chippy, you will be required to do new lock installs and be willing to learn more in depth how they operate to be able to repair and fault find them.
Apprentice Locksmiths will undergo comprehensive training under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in the locksmith trade.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, maintain mechanical, electronic locks and restricted systems.
Provide emergency lockout assistance for residential, commercial, and automotive clients.
Cut keys and rekey locks as needed.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with locks.
Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction at all times.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and parts used.
Requirements:
For Locksmiths:
Proven experience as a locksmith.
Strong knowledge of various types of locks.
Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
For Apprentice Locksmiths:
An interest in the locksmith trade.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
A problem solving mentality.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
