At BRE, we service facilities, workplaces & customers in & around the Katherine township with the majority of work being carried out in town. We also periodically travel to cattle stations, remote towns when required with ample opportunity to work extra hours if desired.

We know the Top End is an amazing place to take off & explore the wilderness, fishing or waterfalls as well as requiring extra travel time. To cater for this, we offer flexible work arrangements whether it’s to get the kids out early & on the road, you need to be adaptable to partner’s leave or you just need a long weekend (or week) in Bali. We know work/life balance is important and want to make this a reality for you.

NO HOT WATER KATHERINE?

We are getting lots of calls so thought we would help, as it’s never usually an issue up in these parts of the world 💁‍♂️

These unusual constant overcast days mean your solar hot water system can’t produce

The good news is most have an electrical booster to help on these days, usually switched on by a circuit breaker and/or a booster switch (see pic). If you have the booster switch, it should glow red and stay on until the rooftop tank is heated.

So check these first before making a call and you may find you can sort the problem yourself

If this doesn’t work, you most likely need an electrician to check out to get your warm showers back 🔥
