PROJECT WORKS UPDATE – UMBRAWARRA ROAD RESHEETING
Our Butterworth Industries crew is continuing to make great progress on the Umbrawarra Road Resheeting Project near Pine Creek, with works being completed section by section.
We are now entering the final stages of the project, with the team working hard to complete the remaining sections and put the finishing touches on the road.
The crew has been busy placing new gravel, grading, watering, shaping and compacting to create a smoother, safer and more durable road surface.
The bottom side of the Gorge is now almost complete, with works continuing as we move closer to completing the project.
These resheeting works will help to improve driving conditions, reduce corrugations, improve drainage and strengthen the road surface, helping prepare Umbrawarra Road for the upcoming wet season.
