Carpenter / Labourer
Katherine Constructions is seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter or Labourer to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, takes direction well, and is ready to get stuck into a variety of projects across civil, residential, and commercial construction.
About the Role
You’ll be involved in a range of day-to-day site activities, including:
• Assisting with site preparation and excavation
• Formwork, framing, and general carpentry (for qualified carpenters)
• Supporting construction works from start to finish
• General labouring duties and maintaining a clean, safe site
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a team.
What We’re Looking For
• Carpenter: Trade qualified with completed apprenticeship
• Labourer: Previous construction experience preferred but not essential
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good understanding of safe work practices
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to remote sites (including occasional overnight stays)
Desirable but not essential:
• Civil construction experience
• Machinery or earthmoving experience
• HR licence
