As part of a strategic repositioning of the CBD asset, Construction By Design was engaged to design and deliver a new lobby at 80 Pitt Street.
The project sought to honour the building’s original fabric while introducing a refined, contemporary aesthetic designed to attract new tenants.

Level 23, 44 Market St — Adaptive Re-use Reimagined

Level 23 was reimagined with a simple yet ambitious goal: elevate the space without starting from scratch. Guided by PAG’s ESG priorities, CBD embraced an adaptive re-use strategy - focusing on retention, reuse, and refinement to deliver an environmentally responsible and financially strategic solution. A collaborative site analysis with the landlord and leasing agents identified elements that could be retained, reducing waste and allowing savings to be reinvested into high-impact upgrades. This balance of pragmatism and creativity ensured budget control without compromising design integrity.
