This has being reinforced by being repeatedly asked to tender on various domestic and commercial projects by numerous Architect, Designers and Project managers within the District. Dunstan Constructions has recently further diversified their client base by offering specialised design and construction of Sustainable homes and environmentally friendly buildings. We are hoping to push our sustainable constructions to the next level in the near future. MORE ROOMS WITH BETTER FLOW

One of the main focuses in this renovation was creating more usable rooms while improving the flow throughout the home.

By reworking the floor plan and opening up main areas, we created better connections between rooms, while still giving each area its own purpose. 👌

FROM OVERGROWN TO COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED. 🌿

One of the challenges of this renovation was keeping alive and relocating the very well established Japanese maple — carefully lifted with the excavator and replanted into its new position. 🌳

The existing gardens and driveway were also removed, the entire area was reshaped, and a new driveway, pathways, retaining walls, lawns, irrigation and garden beds were created.

From a heavily established front garden to a clean, functional and completely transformed entrance to the home.

SHADE, STYLE & FUNCTION WITH THIS RETRACTABLE AWNING SYSTEM. ☀️

A great addition to this elevated outdoor living space — an Maxirail retractable awning system, custom integrated into the new balcony structure.

Working alongside Bathurst Welding Works, we fabricated custom steel posts, beams and balustrade specifically to accommodate our clients requests not only for a balustrade that suits the home but also incorporate the needs for the awning system.

The result is a clean, seamless outdoor space that provides shade when needed, while still making the most of the incredible outlook.

A big shout out to the team at Bathurst Welding Works for their quality custom fabrication and helping bring this one together. 🔨

NO ACCESS. NO PROBLEM!!

One of the challenges with this renovation was creating indoor access from the ground floor garage and laundry to the 1st floor main living areas.

The upstairs study was relocated to another room to allow the stairwell, and the basement had a huge structural make over to allow access via these beautiful timber stairs and linking hallway
Another problem solved. Another transformation complete. 🔨

A complete bathroom transformation, and the conversion of a spare bedroom into a private ensuite and walk-in robe off the main bedroom — all part of this full-home renovation.

300 TONNE OF CONCRETE REMOVED AND ONE COMPLETELY NEW BACKYARD. 🌿

This backyard transformation was anything but straightforward.

With the only access to the backyard being through a single garage, almost 300 tonne of concrete had to be removed using only a Bobcat.

Once cleared, we brought in approximately 180m³ of topsoil before transforming the space with a new water feature, exposed concrete and fresh turf, irrigation, planter boxes and gardens ready for planting.

A huge amount of work, in a very challenging space — but the end result speaks for itself.

Another part of this complete home renovation brought back to life by the Dunstan Constructions team. 🔨

What was once a dated (VERY DATED), closed-off dining and kitchen area has been completely transformed.

Walls removed to create a light-filled open living space, a brand-new kitchen, Authentic spotted gum flooring and new double-glazed windows throughout the home.

A full-home refurbishment that has completely changed the way this home feels and functions.

Same home. Completely different feel.

PROJECT COMPLETE 🏠

Renovations don’t come much more complex than this one👌🦾

This project involved transforming an entire home and yard from 1960s to 90% brand spanking new, on a tight site with poor access and a busy street to contend with.
A very special thank you once again to our fantastic clients for working with Dunstan Constructions and our team of Sub contractors and allowing us to transform their forever home.👏
