Warragamba Dam is Spilling

WaterNSW advised:

“Following rainfall across Sydney's water supply catchments this week, Warragamba Dam began spilling at 0420 today.

The spill from the dam may continue for some time.

Stay away from fast flowing or deep water near waterways and floodplains. These hazards potentially threaten the safety of you and your property. Never drive, ride, or walk through floodwater.

The community should refer to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) website for river heights, weather forecasts and warnings.

For flood advice ring NSW SES on 132 500.”
