PLUMBING TIP:
No better time to check your FLEXI HOSES than a rainy weekend!
Flexi hoses are rubber hosing wrapped in braided steel and connect your taps with pressured water. Anything you keep in cupboards especially laundries, kitchens and bathroom can react with the metal braid causing it to weaken and burst under pressure.
~ CHECK FOR: RUST, FRAYING, KINKS OR BULGING.
~ If they’re more than 5–10 years old, replace them before they fail.
~ Don’t store chemicals or cleaning products hard against the hoses.
~ Turn your pump or house inlet off if you’re away for long periods.
Cheap hoses can fail without warning — use quality, WaterMark-certified replacements in Australia.
