💧 Myth vs Fact: "Just add salt to a green pool!" 💧
We hear this all the time... but unfortunately, it's one of the biggest misconceptions in pool care.

❌ MYTH: Adding salt will turn a green pool crystal clear.
✅ FACT: Salt doesn't kill algae.

Salt is simply converted into chlorine by your salt chlorinator. If your pool has already turned green, it's often because there's not enough chlorine being produced, the water chemistry is out of balance, or the filtration system isn't keeping up.
Simply tipping in more salt won't solve the problem and in some cases, it can actually create more issues by raising the salt level beyond what's recommended.
To bring a green pool back to life, you typically need:
✔️ Proper water testing
✔️ Algae treatment
✔️ The correct chlorine levels
✔️ Balanced pH and water chemistry
✔️ Good filtration and circulation
