We’re excited to have officially commenced works at project Toorak in collaboration with SUNBEAT STUDIO

Inspired by a contemporary Australian costal aesthetic, the home brings together traditional weatherboard detailing, strong gabled forms and a generous verandah, balanced with modern architectural elements.

This project will be a true showcase of our craftsmanship, with a strong focus on detail, quality and considered ex*****on.

We’re looking forward to bringing this one to life and sharing the journey along the way.

Meet Chad Macri

Chad is one of our qualified carpenters and has been working in the building industry for over 15 years. With extensive experience across all aspects of residential and commercial construction Chad is a true all rounder who consistently delivers high quality workmanship. His attention to detail, strong work ethic and practical knowledge make him an invaluable member of the Macri Building Co team.

Outside of work Chad is heavily involved with the Fish Creek Football Club. Where he enjoys giving back to the community by coaching the reserves. He’s passionate about spending time with his family, his mates, and his wife Ange, and is always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

If you can’t find Chad on site, there’s a good chance you’ll find him talking all things coffee. His passion has grown into a side business, producing and selling his own coffee through Mac&Moff Coffee. If you’re a fellow coffee lover, be sure to check them out you won’t be disappointed.

We’re proud to have Chad as part of the team, bringing not only years of experience and craftsmanship to every project but also a great attitude and plenty of laughs along the way.

Meet Our Team

Meet Alby Logan, our apprentice carpenter who has been a valued member of the Macri Building Co team for the past two years.

From day one, Alby has brought plenty of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and no shortage of banter to site. Throughout his apprenticeship, he has continued to develop his skills and confidence, showing great capability across all aspects of residential construction. His willingness to learn, take on challenges, and contribute to the team makes him a valuable part of what we do.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Macri Building Co, Alby says it’s the variety of work, the opportunity to learn something new every day, and being part of a supportive team that takes pride in delivering quality for our clients.

Outside of work, Alby enjoys spending time out in the bush, playing football, and making the most of time with his family, mates, and girlfriend. Whether he’s on site or off the clock, Alby brings the same positive attitude and energy to everything he does.

We’re proud to have Alby as part of the Macri Building Co team and look forward to seeing him continue to grow throughout his carpentry journey.

With more than 11 years of hands on experience in the construction industry, Jasper brings a wealth of practical knowledge, leadership and attention to detail to every project undertaken by Macri Building Co.

Having spent over a decade working across a wide range of residential projects, Jasper has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, problem solving and delivering projects to a high standard. His extensive onsite experience and understanding of the building process allow him to lead projects with confidence, precision and a strong focus on client outcomes.

Internal timber cladding isn’t just a finish. It’s one of those elements that can completely change how a house feels, not just how it looks.

At a base level, it introduces warmth and natural texture that plasterboard simply can’t replicate. Timber has variation, grain and depth, it softens a space and makes it feel more lived in and considered, even in a brand new home.

That alone can elevate a house from standard to custom.
