Alpha Underground use state of the art locating equipment and techniques. This allows us to locate conductive underground utility services –communications, water, sewer, power and gas asset. We can quickly and accurately determine what services are underground and where they are located. Alpha Underground will mark out the alignment and depth of the service. This is done on top of the ground using

ground marking paint. This marking allows the service to be referenced by the contractors on site for further work. Alpha Underground also use Non-Destructive Digging (NND) or vacuum excavation to pot hole services safely with no damage to surrounding underground services to establish safe digging areas.

🚧 Now Hiring: Civil Labourer / Operator – Alpha Underground 🚧

Alpha Underground is a growing civil construction business delivering underground services across regional Victoria. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our crew.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on role across a variety of underground and civil projects including directional drilling ,trenching, pipe installation, and general site works.
Some projects will involve away work, with a 10 days on / 4 days off roster when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with installation of underground services (water, sewer, comms)
General labouring and site duties
Machinery operation (if experienced)
Maintain a safe and tidy worksite
Work as part of a team to meet deadlines

About You:

Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable and punctual
White Card (required)
Driver’s licence (essential)
MR/HR licence (desirable)
Machinery experience (advantage)
Willingness to travel and work away on roster when required
