‘Jono’s Hedges’ very own, Ned Morgan,
One of Hawkesburys finest, is now on your Netflix TV screens across the nation as well as internationally, including the US!
Featuring in the stacked aussie cast, ‘The Survivors’, which is a mini TV series (6 episodes).
Based on the best selling ‘Jane Harper's’ 2020 novel, Ned features as the protagonists younger self. Appearing on the screen during memory flashbacks providing context to the main characters current life and the story as a whole of the tv series.
Ned joined our team with us back at the start of 2023 and has become a very valuable assest to our business, being relied and trusted upon to complete any job, whilst still maintaining at our high standrads on his own if needed.
Ned took roughly 4 months off working on the hedges at the end of last year for the filming of this tv series. He was down in Melbourne and across various locations in Tasmania not just in front of the camera but learning the craft from other very successful aussie actors on set about life in the industry. He also was well looked after by the director and their team taking the time to show him a bit around how the entire production works behind the scenes on a large scale set.
Sure, Ned has to take time off from time to time to pursue his passion and dreams of being an actor, whether it’s in a film like this or continuing to put his name out there by completing numerous auditions, which he sometimes has to do at ‘ridiculous o’clock’ via video link in his little studio at home, due to his agent living in the states.
But I think it says a lot about the young man that he has become because all of this considered, I still know exactly what I can expect from him when he comes to work.
Hence winning ‘employee of the month’ for the last 6 months straight!! 😉
