The team is back in town!

For the past couple of weeks, our team has been hard at work on the demolition of stages 3 & 4 of East End Newcastle for Iris Capital.

Following the recent successful demolition of a neighbouring car park, we're excited to once again work within the Newcastle CBD, along the commercial and residential community, and contribute to the revitalisation of the area. All whilst ensuring the works have minimal impact on the surrounding environment.

Drumderg Services Australia has successfully delivered civil and on-site resource recovery works, including excavation and crushing/screening.

A testament to our in-house expertise is the finalised design of the works with an implemented systematic methodology that maximised utilisation of the area, resulting in high-efficiency rates and delivering the project ahead of program.

Over the recent weeks, our technical demolition team has been making significant progress on the internal and detailed works for the Newcastle Airport Terminal Expansion project. As we prepare for the heavy demolition phase, we are honoured to be contributing to this significant transformation.

We extend our appreciation to Construction Control and Newcastle Airport Pty Limited for entrusting us with the opportunity to deliver complete technical and sustainable demolition solutions for this major project. Together, we're dedicated to shaping the way for the new terminal that will redefine the future of travel and new opportunities in Newcastle.

Drumderg is once again recognised on a global scale!

We're proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the World Demolition Awards 2023 in the 'Recycling and Environmental' category, celebrating the sustainable and operational excellence executed for the remediation and demolition of the 92 King St Car Park project for the City of Newcastle .

We extend our gratitude to our dedicated team who have contributed to our journey towards industry excellence, as well as to the City of Newcastle for entrusting us along the way with our sustainable proposal and ex*****on of this project.

We look forward to sharing more about the processes implemented on this project in the lead up to Demolition & Recycling International Word Demolition Summit awards night in Toronto, Canada, scheduled for October 17-18th.

Our teams have been actively working on various projects over the past few weeks in the lead-up to the holidays.
Pictured is the Victoria Parade Pedestrian Footbridge ramps removal in Nelson Bay, for Port Stephens Council

Through satisfactory planning and coordination of works alongside the council team, we ensured the completion of the project prior to the upcoming busy holiday season.

Our methodology of work also focused on mitigating environmental impacts due to the central location of nearby residents, businesses & open public areas.

A big thanks to the teams at Port Stephens Council, Wheeler Cranes & for assisting on this project.

This new industrial drone generation by DJI will set a new standard to our day-to-day operations with the latest advancements in drone technology. DrumBird will not only capture stunning footage whilst enduring the harsh up-close environments of the demolition processes, it will enable us to construct 3D modelling & illustrations to further showcase high level methodologies to our clients, undertake structural monitoring during the heavy demolition stages, undertake site & nearby structure investigations, and much more.

The final touches are currently being completed at 92 King St, City of Newcastle in preparation for the Hard Demolition of the Mall Carpark.

Through clever planning, innovative & practical processes, our team has worked around the clock to successfully remediate all asbestos containing materials from the structure. This not only ensures a safe environment for the public during the demolition stage, but also increasing recyclability rates and diverting over 10,000 tonnes of material from landfill.

Keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks as our 345c UHD High Reach excavator has arrived onsite & is ready to tackle to project ahead.
