3 things that cause green pools (and how to avoid them):

1️⃣ Low sanitiser levels
Hot weather, rain, and heavy pool use can quickly reduce chlorine levels, allowing algae to grow.
✅ Avoid it: Test your water regularly and top up sanitiser as needed.
2️⃣ Poor circulation or filtration
If water isn’t moving properly, algae can settle and multiply.
✅ Avoid it: Run your filter daily (longer in summer) and keep baskets and filters clean.
3️⃣ Unbalanced water chemistry
Incorrect pH and alkalinity reduce the effectiveness of your chlorine.
✅ Avoid it: Regular water testing keeps everything balanced and your pool protected.
