It’s never just a case of booking in a job and turning up. There’s so much planning that goes on behind the scenes and plenty of paperwork in post too, but if there’s one thing I know about Jordan it’s that he is meticulous with his work and it’s so nice to see that recognised time and time again in the kind words of our customer reviews.

Yesterday it was one whole year since we launched JE Fused Electrical!

One year ago I was building the back end of the business at home with the kids full time and Jordan was working out of toolboxes in the back of his ute!
It wasn’t a practical setup to say the least but we were eager to get started. Looking back on that time fills me with a sense of so much joy. It was such a beautiful time, a little bit chaotic with plenty of excitement, nervousness and determination thrown into the mix. We didn’t know all the ins and outs fully but we strapped ourselves in for the ride and launched anyway!

One year on and we’ve learned so much about both our business and ourselves as a couple who now not only live together but work together too. JE Fused has been such a blessing for our family and we’re excited for another great year ahead! 🩵

Lunch break with a side of free iced coffee.. yes please!
Did you know that in Australia we need 3 blood donations every minute to meet demand! 🩸

The Red Cross have a lot of donation centres closed at the moment due to all the crazy mainland weather so they’re encouraging people in areas with open centres to donate if they are able to do so.

This recent stair light install really brings out all the black features of this beautiful home!
It’s amazing how subtle design changes can make such a big difference.

We also swapped all the downlights over from halogen to LED which gives a more modern finish, better light quality, eliminates a potential fire risk and are much cheaper to run!

Before and after of some recent decking sensor lights!
Prior to this installation our client had to walk in the dark to the house and manually turn on the external flood light!
What a game changer this must be for them and we love that they’re feeling safer when they get home!

A very exciting step for us.. we’ve acquired our first work van! 👏🏽

Making moves in an upward trajectory is all very exciting and having a van will definitely help us be able to create more flow in our work days.
I think we will always remember how we started out though! In the shed packing for jobs the day/night before, working out of toolboxes in the back of our day to day Ute and me (Ebony) doing supply runs with kids in tow because we didn’t have the simplicity that a van setup offers.

In other exciting news we will have more availability to take on jobs from August, so the van has come at a perfect time!
