Steel work goes up for the upstairs deck. The construction is completely free-standing as it is advised not to fix to the skin of the panel. 1 meter piers make the whole thing secure.

Progress on my Bondor build has slowed to a crawl, but it’s time to do a little more.
A little history.
Back in the 70s the block of land where our house now stand, was the site for a small zoo/animal refuge, linked to the neighbouring girls home.
The site was crisscrossed with a maze of narrow paths boarding the animals cages.
When the subdivision was done years later, the paths were covered, as the roads and curbing were constructed. During the excavation for our house, many of the slabs of concrete from the paths were discovered.
To maintain a little of the history of the local area, I decided to create some paving around our house, with a crazy paving design using the slabs of concrete.
Happy so far.
