We were proud to partner with the City of Launceston to deliver all three stages of the Road Safety Centre upgrade.

It's been a privilege to help restore this cherished city icon, and we look forward to seeing the community enjoy it for years to come. 🚲👷

The City of Launceston's newly redeveloped Road Safety Centre has been honoured with the 2025 Parks and Leisure Australia (Victorian and Tasmanian) Award of Excellence in the Playspace (>$500K) category 👏🏼

The award was presented at a gala dinner in Victoria this week, recognising the facility as an outstanding example of innovative design and community impact.

City of Launceston Mayor Matthew Garwood said the award was a testament to the Council’s commitment to delivering world-class recreational spaces that enriched the lives of residents and visitors.

"We are incredibly proud to receive this prestigious award from Parks & Leisure Australia, which celebrates the Road Safety Centre as a vibrant, inclusive, and educational space that reflects Launceston’s values," Mayor Garwood said.

Last night at the Civil Contractors Federation - Tasmania awards night our Newnham Creek Remediation Project was recognised as the winner of the category Projects up to $2 million. 🏅

This project was brought to life in conjunction with our client the City of Launceston Official and offers a showcase of mixed creek remediation methods to suit site constraints as the creek closely follows the edge of neighbouring properties. 🦺

As with all our projects, we appreciate the daily effort our team members put in to construct this in conjunction with our suppliers, sub-contractors and the community! 🙏

This project will now be in the running for national recognition in November. 🤞

In the photos below you will see a water main cut in completed back in May, recent progress photos from stage 3 of the road safety centre and Reno mattress installation in a canal. It’s been a busy few months and we appreciate everyone contributing to bring these projects to life!

Stairs through pump station walls, subdivisions, stormwater works, Reno mattress and much more! It’s been all go since returning from the Christmas break with plenty more lined up ✅ All these projects come together thanks to the efforts of our clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and of course our team 👷👷‍♀️

Cranes Combined helping us out with the heavy lifting on a tight site!

We are working on sewage pump station upgrades at the cataract gorge on behalf of the City of Launceston. As you can see, the site has many constraints and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we work towards completion!

We couldn’t be prouder of the guys on site getting it done ✔️ 👍

We’re working with the TasWater to upgrade a lagoon at the Westbury Sewage Treatment Plant.

Our works involve replacing some aging concrete with a new clay liner, and then we’ll be installing Earthlok for better erosion protection before finishing up this important work with other upgrade works around the plant.
