Royal Flying Doctor Service TAS Aeromedical Base
Launceston | Tasmania

Designed to support life-saving care, this new aeromedical base will bring together aviation, healthcare and emergency services within one highly integrated facility.

Operating around the clock, the building has been carefully planned to support rapid response, operational efficiency and staff wellbeing, creating a contemporary home for critical services in Tasmania.

We're looking forward to seeing this project move from concept to reality and supporting the important work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service for years to come.

Introducing The Three Sisters.

Formerly known as George Street, and later Riven, this evolving project has now found its final name – The Three Sisters.

Located in the heart of Launceston, the project reflects a thoughtful balance between heritage and contemporary living, bringing together three distinct residences connected through considered design, materiality and shared identity.

Inspired by connection, individuality and the layered history of the site, The Three Sisters represents more than a name change – it reflects the project’s story as it moved from concept through to completion.

Project Highlight | Launceston Health Hub

Designed as more than just a healthcare facility, Stage 5 of the Launceston Health Hub was created to support connection, clarity and wellbeing through architecture.

The building brings together healthcare, community and movement within a carefully considered civic space at the corner of Wellington and Cleveland Streets. Natural light, warm materials and adaptable spaces work together to create an environment that feels calm and welcoming.

From the coloured façade inspired by abstract DNA sequences to the light-filled internal courtyard, every detail was designed to contribute to the experience of care – not just the function of it.

This project reflects 6ty°’s integrated approach across architecture, engineering, surveying and planning, helping shape environments that support the Tasmania we call home.

The Waterfront Precinct | Throw Back Transformation

From groundwork to a defining piece of Devonport’s waterfront – this project captures the journey from construction to completion.

What began as a complex, active site has evolved into a connected, considered public space. Linking infrastructure, landscape and built form to the river’s edge. The result is a precinct that not only serves its purpose but contributes to the way people experience and move through the city.
