ston area, however we have actively worked state-wide throughout our time of operation. Over the years of our success, we have gained experience with the delivery of multi-faceted projects for many high profile clients, including design, project and stakeholder management. Supreme Line Fencing currently employs fifteen staff within the Launceston and Hobart area. We also currently have partnership arrangements with subcontractors in the Southern region. We are an active member of the Australasian Wire Industry Association and adhere to regulatory standards. Supreme Line Fencing operates out of a factory that is 600 square meters(including office space), 1500 square meters yard space - it is fully equipped and we have the capacity to complete works within a timely manner.

About the Role

As our Leading Hand, you’ll be the driving force behind our installation operations — ensuring our teams are supported, our projects run smoothly and our customers receive the quality we’re known for.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organise and procure all jobs to ensure smooth, efficient delivery

Lead and manage installation teams to meet timelines, budgets, safety and quality standards

Provide clear communication, technical guidance and practical support to crews

Work closely with the GM on strategic initiatives and operational improvements

Support business development, customer service and job resourcing

Oversee daily operations: setting targets, problem‑solving, quality checks, scheduling and working alongside teams when required (50–75%)

Conduct end‑of‑day reviews to ensure targets and standards are consistently met

What You Bring

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role (fencing, construction or civil)

Medium Rigid Truck Licence

Full Australian Drivers License

Construction White Card

Working with Vulnerable People Card (Employment) or ability to obtain.

Experience operating excavators and skid steers

Proven ability to lead multiple teams with confidence and clarity

Strong communication skills and a professional approach with staff and clients

A leadership style that sets the standard for work ethic, safety and quality

Ability to hold staff accountable while maintaining positive morale

Highly organised, proactive and detail‑focused

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

A team‑oriented mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a lively, supportive workplace

Supreme Line Fencing is one of Tasmania’s leading fencing contractors. For more than 30 years, we’ve built a strong reputation for manufacturing and installing high quality fencing solutions for Councils, Schools, Utilities, Commercial Builders, Farmers and Civil Engineering contractors across the state.

As demand continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Fence Installers to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

About the Role
You’ll be part of a skilled, hardworking team delivering a wide range of fencing projects. This is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high quality work and enjoys working outdoors in a fast paced environment.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in farm fencing and experience in one or more of the following: chain link, tubular steel, welded mesh, gates
• Current valid driver’s licence
• A strong team player with a positive, “can do” attitude
• Able to work independently when required
• Hard working, reliable, punctual and conscientious
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality workmanship
• Professional, neat and tidy presentation
• Clear communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Construction White Card

Highly Desirable:
• Skid Steer Loader National Accredited Certificate
• MR Truck Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Working with Vulnerable People Card (Employment) or willingness to obtain
