WE ARE HIRING - Air conditioning trades person/ electrical tradesperson ❄️⚡️

📍LOCATION: Laurieton NSW (and Mid North Coast surrounds)

NBK ELECTRICAL is looking for a qualified and reliable tradesperson to join our friendly team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress their career and experience a large range of electrical work including air conditioning - with the opportunity to undertake an electrical trade apprenticeship for the right candidate.

⚡️We are preferably looking for an Air-conditioning tradesperson looking to broaden their career with an Electrical Apprenticeship - but will also take interest from others depending on experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
⚡️Preferred experience in installation, servicing & maintenance of split system and ducted air-conditioning systems.
⚡️Strong understanding of electrical safety & compliance.
⚡️Ability to work independently as well as part of time.
⚡️Skills in customer service & communication with others.
⚡️A strong work ethic and self-motivation.
⚡️Must hold a current NSW drivers licence.

DUTIES OF POSITION INCLUDE:
⚡️Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
⚡️Installation, maintenance and repair of split system and ducted air conditioning systems.
⚡️Performing electrical testing, fault finding and safety checks on said systems.
⚡️Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe worksite.
⚡️Liasing with customers and team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and safely.

The team recently had to replace a condemned timber pole on a customers property.
After discussion we decided on a Titan Pole - these poles are known for their longevity and will not rust, burn or rot like timber and steel poles can over time.

As an accredited Level 2 provider - we can help you by coming onsite to ensure your home or business is safe AS WELL AS have your power restored and will take care of all the paperwork involved with Essential Energy.

⚠️Essential Energy have a reimbursement available of up to $350 to help with the reconnection of your property by a Level 2 ASP(us!). This does not include extra repairs needed⚠️ The customer will need to put this claim in. (But we are here to guide you through that process).

Recent call out to Lake Cathie where a customers mains had shorted together resulting in significant damage as seen in photos. ⚡️💥

The team promptly disconnected the mains safely from the source, then replaced the mains and reconnected.

How good do these brand new sports field lights look at Hat Head Bowling Club! A permanent generator was also installed onsite for any future outages to keep the place running.

This job wouldn't have been possible without our skilled team. As you can see this job required alot of team work and planning - we loved taking on the challenge. 💪🏽
