After 2023 floods left a Cabonne Shire timber footbridge unsafe and geotechnical constraints (high water table, silty soils, poor surface stability) ruled out shallow footings, Struktis delivered a tailored pedestrian suspension bridge. Using deep screw-piles to rock, off-site prefabrication for swift crane installation, FRP minimesh decking for slip resistance and drainage, and galvanised/painted steel with graded ramps and compliant handrails, the solution prioritised durability and accessibility. The result is a flood-resilient, low-maintenance crossing that restores safe, year-round community access and reconnects a popular local path.
