Over an 10 month engagement, our client delivered a high accuracy oil filtration and flow measurement solution for their major client's compressor operations in Karratha, WA. The project focused on improving oil cleanliness, operational reliability, and real time visibility across multiple compressor units handling hydraulic, mineral, and synthetic oils.
Client Objective
Client required a system capable of:
• Filtering multiple oil types used across their compressor fleet
• Providing precise, real time flow measurement, at high velocity, while maintaining a true no-pressure-drop design.
• Operating continuously in a demanding industrial environment
• Integrating seamlessly with existing site instrumentation
• Supplying certified calibration documentation for compliance
• Maintenance free measuring
Our solution delivered all of this while supporting uninterrupted compressor performance throughout the project.
Delivered Solution
We supplied and commissioned a complete filtration and measurement package, including:
CYPRESS T410 C5 MB Flow Meter System
A high capacity, industrial grade flow meter unit designed for continuous operation across varying oil viscosities.
FC100 Flow Computer Display
A wall mounted, high visibility flow computer providing:
• Real time flow rate
• Totalised volume
• Data logging for operational reporting
• Velocity and diagnostics utilization for performance verification.
Traceable Wet Calibration Certificates
Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidence in all flow measurement data.
Fluids Filtered
The system successfully filtered and monitored:
• Shell Tellus S2 VX 32 – Hydraulic oil
• Shell Turbo S4 X 32 – Mineral turbine oil
• Mobil Jet Oil II – Synthetic aviation grade lubricant
Each fluid required precise handling and stable measurement across changing temperature and viscosity conditions.
