Decent 510m2 roof restoration completed.

🌟 High Pressure cleaned
🌟 Removed all bedding from the valleys (don’t bed and point valleys, you will have all sorts of issues)
🌟 Replaced rotted fascia boards
🌟 Replaced over 120 broken tiles
🌟 New flashings for the Dutch gables
🌟 Replaced old skylights with new ones
🌟 Installed valley clips
🌟 Drilled in weep holes
🌟 All guttering cleaned and cleared
🌟 Installed 70m of prestite in the valleys
🌟 Repointed all ridge capping (97m)
🌟 Applied 1x coat of roof primer
🌟 Applied 2x coats of roof membrane in colour (deep ocean)
🌟 1x green tree snake removed from the roof and let free in a much better environment

Some roof repairs were needed after previous repairs were carried out by another company.

What they did-
- Repointed with a brush ❌
- Repointed over weep holes & didn’t put them back in ❌
- Left broken tiles ❌
- Filled the water courses with liquid rubber ❌

What we done-
- Repointed with a trowel cleaning their mess up ✅
- Re-drilled the weep holes back in ✅
- Replaced broken tiles with new ones ✅
- Cleared all water courses from liquid rubber ✅
- Installed prestite into the leaking valley ✅
- Removed all debris from the valley and guttering to allow water flow without blockages ✅
- Installed valley clips ✅

All water run off from this property was entering the waterways in Newcastle, meaning there was no point of setting up our transfer pump in the street as there was no water to capture. Instead we have to disconnect all downpipes and install temporary downpipes to re-direct the run off onto the property itself where we are working.

We can’t afford EPA fines.



All these little extras is what the “cheap companies” won’t even consider.
