🌧️ Well today definitely didn't go to plan 💔

What started as an absolutely beautiful Day 2 at the Float River Festival very quickly turned into something we weren't expecting 🥺.

The sun was shining, it was hot, we were all set up and having the best time. We knew the wind was coming, we prepared for it and weighted everything down but then the storm hit FAST and HARD 🌧️💨.

Within minutes our entire stall was turned upside down. Tables flipped, cups broke, stock, displays and jewellery went flying, everything was soaked and my marquee was damaged 😭.

One minute we were having the best time and the next we were desperately trying to hold our marquee down and save whatever we could.

Honestly, I'm absolutely gutted so much time, work and preparation went into this weekend.

Unfortunately, we were meant to return tomorrow, but with damaged stock, a damaged marquee and everything needing to be dried out, Bella & Bro Creations won't be returning for the final day.

A massive THANK YOU to the complete strangers who jumped in to help us when everything went flying. You have no idea how much that meant.

And Chontelle thank you 🫶 We're both devastated with how our weekend ended, but I'm so bloody grateful I had you there beside me through the absolute chaos 😭.

Tonight we'll dry everything out, assess the damage and clean up the absolute mess.

And finally, thank you to everyone who visited and supported Bella & Bro Creations at the Float River Festival over the last 2 days. Every purchase, conversation and hello genuinely means so much to my little business 🥹.

Not quite the ending we imagined…but certainly a market weekend we'll NEVER bloody forget 😭🌧️💨.

My little helper Brody unpacking the absolute MOUNTAIN of cups Mum needs to get ready for The Float River Festival 😂🥤.

When your name is literally in the business… I guess you're automatically on the payroll 🤷‍♀️😂.

He was SO proud helping me get everything unpacked and ready 🩵.

Little moments like this make me love this little business even more. Bella & Bro was named after my babies, so having them involved behind the scenes makes it that little bit more special 🥹💕

Welllll…The Oaks, you were a good one 🥹🩷

Today was one of those market days that reminded me how much I genuinely love doing this.

So many familiar faces came past the Cup Bar, plenty of new ones too, lots of chats, lots of cups made and just an all round bloody good day 🌞🐮🤎.

There was also a really special moment today when the market stopped for one minute of silence in memory of Lily Hooper 💜. A beautiful gesture for a young local girl whose loss has touched so many people throughout the community. My thoughts are with Lily's family, friends and everyone who loved her🕊️.

Also…meet Bojack 😂🐴 He was not impressed this morning because his mate wasn't there hahaha. Apparently market day without your bestie is unacceptable 😂. By the afternoon he'd come around and was living his best life.
