Saunders Electrics Contracting Supplying electrical support to the community in a timely, safe and efficient manner whilst also giving back.

Saunders Electrics came from grassroot beginnings in 1970, as a one man operation led by Albury Saunders. Albury’s desire to deliver quality service saw business flourish across the Longreach district as Albury never lost sight of his desire to deliver quality service. In the early 1990s, Shane Saunders took over the business. Under the guidance of Shane, the business grew in size as it developed

relations with stakeholders across the Central West whilst continuing to deliver the service and quality Saunders Electrics was renowned for. Saunders Electrics remained under the care of Shane until 2014, when approaching retirement, Shane split the business into two facets – a retail and commercial operation. The commercial operation was soon after sold to Sam Nisbet. Under the care of Sam, Saunders Electrics Contracting has continued to maintain and deliver the service and quality that the business has become synonymous with.

Saunders Electrics are delighted to have been trusted to install a new solar powered water system for valued customers Butch and Meg Walker from Walker Cattle Company Blackall.

In conjunction with our partners at Bontech Townsville we installed a 3kW Franklin Electric surface pump and array to vastly increase supply to tanks and troughs.

This caps off a huge 18 months of infrastucture developments completed by the Walkers.
