Why won't we produce construction drawings from architectural plans alone?

Because walls move. Framing settles.
Dimensions on paper and dimensions on site are rarely the same. Sometimes by 20mm. Once, by 1500mm.

Our rule is absolute: our Draftsperson physically measures standing walls on site before any construction drawings are produced. Until then, we work with 3D concept images and sketch layouts only.

It prevents costly rework. It protects the client's investment. And it's one of the reasons our installs fit precisely every time.

This walk-in robe was designed to light itself the moment you walk in.
Polytec Soft Walnut Ravine. LED strip lighting under every shelf and along the base of every cabinet, set 50mm back from the front edge. No switches. Just light where you need it.

Her side: double-hang, open shelving for handbags, pull-down hanging rail for the high section, pull-out jewellery drawer, trouser rack. His side: double hanging with overhead storage behind push to open doors.

Every section designed around how the clients actually use the space. Not a standard layout pulled from a catalogue.

We've recently had specified the Blum REVEGO pocket door system for an upcoming project — a fitting system that allows full-height cabinet doors to slide back into a pocket, completely out of sight.
REVEGO creates multifunctional spaces. A home office concealed behind pocket doors when not in use. A butler's pantry that opens seamlessly from the kitchen. A bar that disappears into the wall.

This is what we mean by complete home joinery.
Same home. Same attention to detail. Every room.
The laundry features 2PAC Lexicon Quarter Satin cabinetry with custom-built appliance housing for the washer and dryer, Polytec Marmo Di Monte laminate benchtop, under-cabinet LED lighting, and owner-supplied brass handles to tie it all together.
The bathroom vanity is birch ply with a 2PAC clear coat — simple, warm, and letting the natural grain speak for itself.
It's not just about the kitchen. When you work with T&C, the whole home gets the same standard.

Our showroom's worst-kept secret.
Floor to Ceiling 2PAC wall panelling in COLORBOND steel Cottage Green, painted by Driftwood Coatings — with two hidden doors built right into it. When they're closed, it's a seamless feature wall. Push in the right spot and you're walking straight through to the workshop.
No handles. No visible hinges. No clues at all unless you know where to look.
This is what 42 years of custom joinery looks like when we get to have a bit of fun with it. If we can do this for our own showroom, imagine what we can do for your home.

Work in progress — GJ Gardner Victor Harbor.
Another new build on the Fleurieu coming together. This one features shaker-style with glass display uppers, flat panel lowers, with warm timber overhead cabinets as a feature.
We've been working with GJ Gardner on the South Coast for a few jobs now. They know what they're getting, we know what they need — no surprises, just good joinery delivered on time.
Stone and final finishes to come. Looking forward to seeing this one completed.

Install week on the Murray River.
The team spent a week at McBean Pound fitting out the whole home — kitchen, butler's pantry, ensuite, bathroom, bedroom robes, laundry, and linen cabinet.
The kitchen is Polytec Topiary Venette — a deep sage green that runs through to the butler's pantry. Coastal Oak vanities in all the wet areas. Ice Sand stone benchtops going in next.
This is what "complete home joinery" actually looks like — not just a kitchen, but every room that needs cabinetry, all done to the same standard, by the same team.
Stone, appliances, and final finishes to come. But the hard work's done.
