Free telemetry installation available for eligible water users in Queensland 💧
If you hold a surface water entitlement in the Queensland Murray–Darling Basin (QMDB), you may be eligible for a fully subsidised telemetry device for your water meter.

The subsidy covers the upfront costs of:
• Supply and installation.
• First 12 months of data service and maintenance.

Telemetry is a mandatory requirement in the QMDB under the Water Regulation. Getting organised early can save time and stress later.
✅Funding is limited and the subsidy will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Southern Downs and Granite Belt landholders, do you need more water? 💧
Applications are now open as part of the unallocated groundwater releases held under the Border Rivers and Moonie and Condamine and Balonne water plans.

More than 1,000 ML of unallocated groundwater from the Fractured Rock aquifers is now available across the region, following a recent expression of interest process.

Landholders and eligible organisations can apply to access 387 ML from the Border Rivers Fractured Rock aquifer near Stanthorpe and 660 ML from the Condamine Fractured Rock aquifer near Warwick.
