EOI - Pool Shop & Service Assistant - potential August/September start.
Mackay (Northern Beaches)
Part-time (approx. 20-25 hours per week)
Flexible Weekdays – Some Saturdays required

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Part-Time Pool Shop & Service Assistant to join our team. This isn’t just a standard retail job, it’s a dynamic, active role that splits time between expert customer service in-store, technical repairs at the workshop, and local deliveries on the road.
If you enjoy a job where no two days are the same, love solving mechanical puzzles, and
don't mind a bit of heavy lifting, this is the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• In-Store Expertise: Test pool water samples, interpret results, and provide clear,
friendly advice to customers on chemical balancing.
• Technical Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential robotic pool cleaners at our Northern Beaches store.
• Logistics & Deliveries: Safely transport and unload pool chemicals and commercial pool equipment to local and regional aquatic facilities.
• Mobile Servicing: Assist with or conduct routine onsite pool servicing and maintenance.

What We Are Looking For:

• The Right Attitude: Friendly, customer-focused, and eager to learn.
• Handy & Technical: Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for basic repairs.
• Physically Fit: This is an active role requiring the regular lifting and unloading of
boxes and bags of pool chemicals and equipment.
• Licence Required: A valid driver’s licence is essential for deliveries.
• Reliability: Punctual, autonomous, and trusted to represent our business while out on the road.
