Back again but this time for Father’s Day so the dads don’t miss out either. If you are visiting the Mansfield Cemetery today I’ll have a few buckets of little posies at the entrance before lunchtime.

Rainy weekends are for taking cuttings. Now is the perfect time to take cuttings for box hedges. I wanted more English Box to make a few more low hedges for garden edging and with the new green fresh growth on them makes for the perfect time.

The quickest and easiest way to start seeds instead of wasting time sowing them and waiting for them to sprout and see which are viable. These ones only took 5 days to get to this stage and now l can pot up and grow my last seasons dahlia seeds l collected and excitedly wait and see what new varieties l can come up with 🙌🏻

You couldn’t get an easier way to multiply your roses than this.
This is only a few weeks old and all l did was cut off a bit of a rose bush and cut the top on an angle and pushed it straight in the ground next to it and it’s taken, as easy as that.
Just leave it and it will do its thing, establish roots and in the second year it should flower.
They take well where they’ve been grown and it doesn’t need to be any fancier than this.
Just quick, cheap and easy.
