During an inspection last year, we found the switch board in the hall had a few compliance issues, which are common in boards of this age. Firstly, there was no room left in the board, which led to cables being squashed together. Second, the main feed coming from the point of attachment was two phases, and the cable used was two 10mm twin and earth. The issue was that one of the neutral wires was used as an active.
Third , the escutcheon panel was held on with self tapping, which had peirced the main neutral.
So we replaced the in coming mains, installed a new meter board, and replaced the Switchboard. I'd like to thank Brendan and Jet from BENIC Electrical for assisting us in getting this job done on time and with zero incidents.

We loved working on this Queenslander earlier in the year.
