Repairing Levee Breaches

This Tree Trunk arrived during the flood on a customer’s bank above Walker Flat. The green algae marks show how much was submerged compared to how much was actually visible. Hundreds of these came down during the flood and could possibly be sitting at the end of your jetty now. Before the summer season arrives please take time out to make sure your favourite swimming spot is safe and clear.

We are working with the Department of Environment and Water to repair the Levee Banks which breached during the flood to allow the Dairy Farmers to pump out the water and have use of their land once again.
Each site is different and requires either Sheet Piles or Rip Rap bags to seal the breach.
We are repairing the Toora Levee Bank at the moment using sheet pile.

Pressure washed this jetty on River Lane to remove all mud and re-oiled, looking like new again.
