Irrigation Salesperson – Full Time immediate start available.
Pumping Irrigation & Machinery Services (PIMS) a Mareeba-based company delivering end-to-end solutions and high-quality products across water, irrigation, and filtration services. We proudly support a diverse range of industries throughout Far North Queensland.
We are currently seeking a motivated Salesperson to join our team.
Tasks/Responsibilities
This is a hands-on sales position where you will be responsible for both in-store and telephone sales, delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.
You will work closely with customers to provide effective water management solutions across a wide range of sectors, including:
• Agricultural
• Industrial
• Commercial
• Municipal
• Mining
• Domestic
Service areas include Far North Queensland, the Torres Strait, and surrounding regions.
• Manage in-store and phone-based sales enquiries
• Provide expert advice on irrigation and pumping products
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Assist clients with tailored water management solutions
• Support stock control and inventory management
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
• 2–3 years’ experience in retail or customer service (irrigation or pumping industry preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• A willingness to learn and develop industry knowledge
• A self-motivated, reliable, and professional attitude
• The ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
• Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
• Good computer literacy (experience with ERP systems highly regarded)
