TIPS & TRICKS ✨

When looking to have new carpet installed in your home, you will most likely shop around to find the best price to suit your budget and needs. To save yourself some time, knowing the measurements of the spaces you will be having done or the total amount of carpet you will need can make the process that much easier!

Most broadloom carpets are measured by the Lineal metre, in short this means the length “x” a set width. The standard width of a roll of carpet is 3.66m.

By measuring the length and width of your room, this gives the flooring store the ability to give you the most accurate quote, wether they choose to use LM or M2. A check measure will usually need to be performed prior to going ahead with a quote to ensure the right amount of product has been allowed for and that no errors have been made... Oh Yeah! 😎
