Been a run of hot water systems as of late but this one was definitely a nice finish whilst making the customer happy with the results.

Working with from Electricool Air and Electrical

We quoted to install this hot water system to utilise the solar to power the electrical unit whilst keeping the gas unit as a backup if they ever run out.

A new power circuit ran and an upgrade on the board to make things safer with all the power running off it.

Here’s a recent bathroom renovation we recently completed!

This ensuite was massive and the customers just didn’t use the huge corner bath anymore.

Now there is a make up cupboard/area there in lieu of this whilst still having a huge vanity, shower and toilet.

We investigated a faulty change-over switch on LPG regulator.

This may not mean you need a whole LPG regulator - you just need to have a new changeover switch installed.

Of course, you need to be qualified to do this.

If there are leaks, this would not only waste the gas from your bottles but also can create a major risk if an ignition source is introduced!

Is your toilet not letting enough water through the existing toilet pan?

This could be the fact that the mess in the bowl isn’t flushing away properly.

A customer replaced their cistern but the new style left them with this exact problem.
So this is exactly what we did:
👉Removed existing toilet pan that was concreted to the floor
👉Replaced pan collar rubber in floor
👉Installed new ‘S’ trap toilet pan
👉Reconnected existing cistern
👉Siliconed around pan
👉Checked for leaks and tidied up

Something we hear ALL. THE. TIME.

Water is set to 50 degrees Celsius according to Australian standards. 🔥

This is the limit that has been found to prevent children and the elderly from being scalded.

Recent job: Repair broken riser on the hose tap 👨‍🔧

To be able to do this, we needed to dig and excavate around the hose tap next to the meter.

After we repaired the broken riser, we installed the joiner, copper pipe, tap connector, and hose tap.

Then:
👉Test and commission
👉Check for leaks
👉Backfill around tap and reinstall timber post behind the tap

What plumbing may be required when installing a new shed? 💦

💧Water supply if installing a sink etc
💧If you are planning to have a bathroom, you will need a septic/sewer system
💧Stormwater drains/downpipes and rainwater tanks
💧Backflow prevention to protect the main water supply from becoming contaminated

Make sure you always consult with a plumber FIRST to discuss all permits and DAs.

We need to make sure we are complying with local building codes and regulations.
