Install-only pricing starts from $1,450 inc GST for standard single-phase installs.

A proper EV charger installation is not just mounting the unit on the wall. It needs to be checked properly around:

Recent Tesla Wall Connector installation completed in Thomastown.

This customer wanted a clean, dedicated home charging setup for their Tesla Model 3 Performance, with the charger installed properly in the garage and connected through a compliant EV charging circuit.

A proper EV charger installation isn’t just about mounting the unit on the wall. The setup needs to consider the switchboard, circuit protection, cable run, charger location, testing, commissioning and Certificate of Electrical Safety.

This install was completed with a focus on safety, compliance and a clean finish.

Zappi 7kW EV charger installation completed in Cockatoo for a Jaecoo J5 ⚡

This was a residential solar/battery-aware setup, with the charger installed near the existing meter box and electrical equipment.

Scope included:

• Zappi 7kW single-phase EV charger supply and install
• Dedicated EV charging circuit
• Required circuit protection
• CT monitoring setup where practical
• Charger setup and commissioning
• Testing and verification
• Certificate of Electrical Safety

The Zappi was selected because it can operate as a normal home EV charger while also supporting solar-aware charging modes where the existing solar/battery system allows.

This is why EV charger installation should be scoped properly. The charger, switchboard, solar equipment, battery system and available electrical capacity all need to work together safely.

This one came together really nicely - clean install, fully compliant, and ready to go.

Customer went with a Zappi smart charger, mounted neatly in the garage with a proper dedicated circuit and protection.

We had a few unexpected things come up during the install (longer cable run + more complex setup than initially expected), but we worked through it and made sure everything was done properly without cutting corners.

End result:
